There were a few typos and the story is REALLY short but it was alright. The sex scene was ok and I don't mind some LIGHT bdsm in a story. I would never allow a man to spank me in anger for discipline as in the second excerpt, though. In reality, I don't like pain during sex. While I like a mixture of gentle and rough sex (but not painful) depending on my mood, I would find being a submissive as an role boring. I like to switch places, sometimes I'm submissive, sometimes he is. I recognize that everyone doesn't draw their line in the same place however.In closing, I couldn't help but notice the woman on the cover had dark hair whereas the female main character had blond hair. It was a small discrepancy, however which didn't affect my enjoyment of the story. I have looked at the author's other writings, however, and she is off my reading list as I'm not interested in "discipline".
Not bad. Can't say it was the best of the best. Erotic Historical romance but still ok. No complains.
